Retired Invoicing Colleagues Return to Dürrenäsch

This Spring, Bertschi welcomed a group of retired invoicing colleagues back to Dürrenäsch for a special reunion. The afternoon offered a warm mix of memories and insight into how much the invoicing world has changed over the years.

The program started with a look back at how invoicing and releases were handled 35 years ago in a time when many processes were still manual. This was followed by an introduction to today’s IT invoicing landscape, including insights into Quotations with Price-Finding, Customer-Invoicing, and Subsidiary-Crediting. For many of the retired colleagues, it was a chance to see first-hand how the systems they once worked with have developed into today’s digital tools.

The event also showed the strong connection many retired employees still feel with Bertschi. The pensioners are an active part of the wider Bertschi community and regularly attend the annual employee assembly in January. This reunion was another reminder that good relationships do not end with retirement. There is real value in bringing different generations of Bertschi experience together.

“Many of our retired colleagues helped build the foundations we work on today. It was very special to show them how far our systems have developed, and to see how interested and connected they still are.”
