Shared experiences build strong teams!
Our events bring together employees from a wide variety of departments. Whether athletic, social, or challenging, shared experiences strengthen unity and foster team spirit. Even outside of the daily work routine, we place a high priority on community.
Bertschi Employee Assembly 2026
Our annual Bertschi Employee Assembly took place at the beginning of the year. Together, we looked back on 2025 and looked ahead to the coming year, 2026. We spent the day together in a relaxed atmosphere with delicious food. A special highlight was the 153 service anniversaries celebrated by employees marking their 10th, 20th, 30th, or even 40th year with the company.
Bertschi Bowling Bash
In a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, our employees gathered for a fun bowling evening. Fun and games took center stage, as did a friendly competition that created a great atmosphere. There was plenty of time for engaging conversations and shared laughter with old and new colleagues. The event was rounded out by a varied buffet and refreshing drinks, ensuring that the Bertschi staff enjoyed a thoroughly successful evening.
Small Caliber Shooting
The Bertschi Group’s small caliber shooting event has been a staple of the internal calendar for many years and enjoys great popularity. The focus is on precision, concentration, and the responsible handling of equipment. The lively atmosphere offers participants the opportunity to experience this traditional sport together and to strengthen team spirit among the workforce. In this way, the event has always combined Swiss tradition, athletic excellence, and a spirit of camaraderie.
Baking Grittibänz Together
Employees kicked off the 2025 holiday season with a Swiss tradition: baking Grittibänz together. In the in-house cafeteria run by the Lebenshilfe Foundation, the kitchen staff demonstrated the individual steps of this traditional baking craft. To wrap things up, everyone gathered in a cozy atmosphere to enjoy warming punch and delicious snacks. The event fostered warm connections, sparked curiosity about other cultures, and strengthened team spirit in a lasting way, far beyond national borders.
Junior Day 2026
Once again this year, we opened our doors to interested, motivated young people and their parents to give them a glimpse into our company and our apprenticeship programs. Through discussions with vocational trainers, HR staff, and our apprentices, they were able to learn about the various careers and enjoy exciting experiences. From driving trucks and writing code to planning a shipment from Germany to Shanghai, there was something for everyone.
Future Day 2025
On Future Day, the children enjoyed an exciting and varied day at the Dürrenäsch and Birrfeld locations. With plenty of curiosity and a spirit of discovery, they learned in a playful way how logistics works behind the scenes, gaining their first insights into the daily work lives of their parents, relatives, or acquaintances. Numerous “aha” moments, new impressions, and shared wonder made Future Day a special experience and brought the world of logistics to life for the children.
Events around the world
At the Mud Masters Run, our employees from Cologne and Duisburg took on an extraordinary athletic challenge. Together, they battled their way through mud and slush. The team in Houston took a slightly more relaxed approach, participating in the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk. They also went all out for Halloween, dressing up to celebrate the day. Our colleagues in Belgium and the Netherlands also celebrated, thanking all drivers with a small gesture on Truck Driver Day 2025.
