Saime’s journey at Bertschi began in August 2013, as an Export/Import Operator. Her dedication and strong communication skills quickly led to her becoming a Team Lead in October 2016. “I quickly learned the importance of effective communication and collaboration, which helped us streamline processes and improve efficiency,” Saime recalls. Over the years, she took on more responsibilities, leading to her promotion as Export Supervisor, where she now oversees projects and mentors other team leads. “It’s been an incredibly rewarding journey, and I’m excited about continuing to contribute to Bertschi’s success!”

In her new position, Saime manages four export teams, ensuring smooth operations while keeping a focus on continuous improvement. “I still rely on many of the skills I developed as a team lead, but my current role demands a more comprehensive and strategic approach to leadership,” she explains. Saime’s primary responsibilities include analyzing workflows to enhance productivity, managing projects, and mentoring team members. Through regular coaching sessions and performance evaluations, she aims to create a positive work environment while driving operational excellence.

Saime’s leadership approach encourages an atmosphere where every team member feels valued and heard. “I believe in open communication, where everyone is comfortable sharing their thoughts and feedback,” she shares.
